Since 1998, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon series runners have raised over $310 million for its various charity partners.
Next weekend, July 18th and 19th, runners will be racing for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the V Foundation. The goal is to raise $10 million this year, and you can help!

– The 5th annual Imerman Angels Golf Outing is also on Thursday, July 23rd at the Harborside Internaional Golf Center. Come out for an afternoon of golf, lunch, games, prizes, and auction items. Imerman Angels provides one-on-one support for cancer patients, their survivors, and caregivers. Tickets are $250, benefitting Imerman Angels and the services they provide to cancer patients. – Heartland Animal Shelter is hosting their 9th annual Walk of Love on Saturday, July 25th at 9:30 in the morning at the Blue Star Memorial Woods Forest Preserve in Glenview, right by Lake and Harms. It’s a 2K walk, with breakfast, puppy pools, and a pet caricaturist. Tickets are $25, benefiting the animals at Heartland, a no-kill animal shelter in Northbrook.
